Here we go with a new MFT Color Challenge! Join us as we create with this week’s color combination.
This challenge features Natural, Sour Apple, Orange Zest and Tangy Orange!
Remember, you don’t have to have the EXACT colors to play – just use colors inspired by the ones you see below.
Add in neutrals like black, white or kraft, but challenge yourself to incorporate all four of the colors.
Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this color combination and be sure to link your project on the MFT blog for a chance to win a My Favorite Things Gift Voucher worth $50.
MFT products are encouraged, but not required. We just want to see what this week’s color combination inspires you to create!
And here is my coloring with it! I’ve used again one of the little kids in the stamp set called “Adorable Adventures”…of course one of my favourite ever!
A few color challenges ago i’ve used one of the girl in the set and i’ve drawn her some wings, this time i made the same thing with this boy!
I hope you liked my coloring and don’t forget to join us in this fantastic challenge!
i’m sure you missed me…LOL! Today at MFT blog we have a brand new challenge for you and it’s a sketch challenge!
This week we have a brand new sketch which was super fun to play with!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 504! Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project on HERE for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create!
and guess what?! I’ve made another card! Of course i had to play with rainbow colors! I’ve stamped this little girl from the stamp set called “Rain or shine”.
I’ve used one of the MFT stecils to cerate the circle in the focal point of the card and then with a ruler i’ve drawn the rainbow behind the scene. Then i’ve stamped my little girl and the sentiment and coloured wverything with my copic markers.
I hope you’ll join us in this week’s challenge and i can’t wait to see what you’ll make!
I’m so happy today because the new MFT card kit is finally available to purchase! …and it’s super fun because it contains some MUST HAVE pieces in it! (stamps, dies and papers!!)
And for today i’ve made a card! Yes, you read it right…i finally made a full card! and about this i have a question for you…i have a lot of fun making only coloring projects but i was wondering if you prefer to see full cards (?)
Let me know in the comments below!
For today’s card i’ve used the kit exclusive stamp set and it’s a sentiment stamp called “Let’s get lit”
and here is a little peek on what’s inside of the kit!
I’ve combined this sweet sentiment with an old stamp set called “Festive Friends” and colored the whole scene in black and white…except one little detail…the christmas lights!
as always i’ve also added some little white pen dots and stars here and there!
I hope you’ll like my card and don’t forget to buy your card kit before it’s gone…you won’t regret!
It’s time for a new Birthday Project challenge, and this week we have a fantastic new theme for you!
There’s a good chance that a lot of your birthday cards are designed with kids in mind but really, it’s just so fun to tap into your childlike side to create something that will appeal to the lucky little ones in your life. We’re letting loose this month, encouraging our team to play with ideas that will appeal to kids (or, kids at heart!)
And for today’s coloring i’ve played with the “Adorable Adventures” and i’ve altered it and colored him like a Super Mario.
I so love how it tourned out! As always i’ve colored everything with my beloved copic markers!
Hope you’ll like my coloring and don’t forget to join us in this challenge! I wish you a creative day,
And here is my creation for today! I’ve had so much fun playing with some of the newest stamps and mix and match two different stamp set to create today’s coloring!
So i’ve hand drawn the big letters and then i’ve stamped all these cute little critters here and there to create my scene.
And then i’ve coloured everything with my beloved copic markers.
I’ve decided to add more contrast between the critters and the sentiment coloring then with the two opposites color combos: for the sentiment i’ve used a rainbow pallette and for the critters my favourite blacks and whites.
That’s not all! To celebrate this special Anniversary release, Mama Elephant is giving away ten $25 gift certificates to our store!!! That is 10 winners!!! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the 3 day Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to win!
It’s our last countodown day to the new release! Today’s stamp is one of my favorite of the new collection!
For today’s coloring i’ve used (..and altered! LOL) a stamp set that we are sneak-peeking today! And it is called “Loads of joy”
…and this cute little snowman reached for the stars! LOL
So, i’ve masked the top part of the stamp and removed the presents because i so wanted to create an “exceptional trasnport” kind of scene! I’ve hand drawn the big star and added also a bow because who want to miss the load on the way home?
I hope you’ll like today’s coloring and i can’t wait to come back tomorrow for the release!
