Add in neutrals like black, white or kraft, but challenge yourself to incorporate all four of the colors.

For this challenge i’ve decided to color this cute little elephant from an old stamp that i really love so very much!

I’ve imagined him playing in the grass and a little watercolor effect all around the image give it the feels of an kids illustrated book, isn’t?

This color combo is so easy to use because you have the colors for a sky and the colors for the grass! I’ve added the Natural color on the stone where my little elephant is sit!

Hope you liked my coloring for today and i hope to have inspire you to join us!

Can’t wait to see what you’ll create…wishing you a creative day!

and here is my card with it! this sketch really inspired me on creating something different…a little scene in the space!

I’ve stamped these three little guys on a copic friendly paper, following the three circles of the sketch. then i’ve drawn a planet on the bottom of the card!

unnamed (6)

With my copics i’ve colored the whole scene and also added some circles around their head to create the astronauts helmets!

With white gel pen i’ve added some stars on the sky and then, as always, a little sentiment stamped and white embossed on black cardstock.

I hope you’ll like my card for this week challenge and i really can’t wait to see what you’ll create!

Have a creative day,

The Birthday Project – MFT

Hello everyone!
How is going? Today i’m super excited to share my card for this mont’s Birthday Project at MFT because the theme was a bit challenging to me but i LOVE to challenge myself sometimes.

Despite different backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions, one thing we share that unites us and is worth celebrating is the birthday of friends and family. Recognizing the special day of someone you love with a handcrafted card straight from the heart is always a good idea and if stocking your stash with unique birthday designs is on the agenda, have we got the perfect challenge for you!

Our monthly Birthday Project challenge features ideas for getting creative with your birthday card making. Our team is excited to share their ideas, and we’re ALL excited to see how the challenges inspire you!

unnamed (8) (2)

So, this month challenge is to use alphabet dies or stamps to customize your projects!

As you have noticed i’m more into stamps and coloring but i really wanted to try to include some dies to my card so i’ve decided to cut out a little rainbow word!

Is there anything better than anything in rainbow color?! LOL

unnamed (9) (1)

Then, just because i’ve used a rainbow word i tried to put some more rainbow color to my card and so i’ve added that magical and super shiny rainbow behind this cute zebra!

What do you think about it?

I really can’t wait to see what you’ll make for this month’s birthday project challenge!

Have a creative day!

And here we go with my card! I’ve drawn a big heart on my copic friendly paper and then stamped my two little mouses in front of it!

I love this sketch so much because it’s so simple yet so beautiful and easy to play with!

unnamed (7)

To color the heart i’ve used some new copic markers i got recently and i LOVE this blue color combo so much so if you’re intrested in copic codes for the blues here they are: B69, B66, B63, B60.

And then i added my usal little sentiment stamped with versamark and white embossed on black cardstock.

unnamed (6) (2)

Aren’t these mouses the cutest ever?? some little touches with white gel pen really makes the different in this card!

I hope you liked my card, can’t wait to see what you’ll create with this amazing sketch!

Sending big hugs your way and stay safe!

The Vault Release is finally here – MFT

Hello everyone and welcome back to the last day of the Vault release presentation!
i loved this valut so much and the stamps and dies released during this release are AMAZING!

For today’s coloring i’ve decided to create something different from my usual…i challenged myself a bit and played with a die!

As you probabily knows, i don’t use metal dies that often…not because i don’t like them but because i’m so much into coloring so, sometimes it’s hard to fit them in my style. But that’s not the case of this amazing fishbowl die! As soon as i saw it i fell in LOVE!

I decided to make something different that expected and coloring the die cut.

ValutReleaseBlogHop-Alberto(2)

so, after i die cut my copic friendly paper, i’ve stamped on the inside this little shark from the stamp set called “friends with fins”. Then i’ve drawn some seaweed and some rocks in the “seabed” !

the i’ve colored my whole image with my beloved copic markers. The final touch is given by a bit of white acrylic paint to give the refelctions of the fishbowl.

ValutReleaseBlogHop-Alberto

I hope you liked my coloring. Don’t forget to grab your stamps and dies from this vault release because every product is just AMAZING!

Hope you’ll come back tomorrow for a new sketch challenge!

Have a creative day,

Alberto

Valut Release Day1 – MFT

Hello everyone and welcome back to a new countdown day to the may Valut Release!
Today i’m sharing with you a little card i’ve made using one of the stamps that will be release on the 19th.

This stamp set is called “Class Act”. I love this little girl with the books…and i love the school theme!

ValutReleaseDay1-Alberto(2)

Then, after i’ve stamped the little girl and the school bus, i’ve drawn a little background behind her and colored everything with my beloved copic markers.

And as final touch, I’ve stamped a sentiment and embossed it with white embossing powder on black paper.

I hope you liked my card for today and i hope to see you back to my blog tomorrow because i have a new coloring for the valut release that i really can’t wait to share with you!

Have a creative day

Alberto

Vault Release Day2 – MFT

Hello everybody!

Are you ready for a new vault release? Well, i am…and i’m in love with the products that are back to the MFT family!

Today i’m showing you a little coloring of this stamp set called “Everyday is a Picnic”…this girl is so fun to color because the stamp is so big and you can add a lot of details to it!

ValutReleaseDay2-Alberto

for my coloring i’ve added the wings to this little girl to trasform her into a magical fairy! Then i’ve added some butterflies around her and coloured everything with my beloved copic markers.

I love the color combo i’ve used, especially for the wings…aqua and yellow together are so amazing, isn’t?

I hope you liked my coloring for today and i hope you’ll come back tomorrow on my blog for another countdown creation to the May Vault Release!

Have a creative day!
